Dave

I am in the middle of my post/uploading photos from our New England vacation, but I wanted to briefly mention Dave.

There was a mass shooting in Seal Beach, California on Wednesday, and our good family friend Dave Caouette was one of the innocent victims of this terrible tragedy.  (Article here)  Dave was my mom’s neighbor in Massachusetts when she was in Jr High, and was a life long friend of both my parents.  We spent many holidays in Seal Beach with the Caouettes over the years of my childhood, and their kids were like our cousins.

The last time I saw Dave was at our wedding in 2008.  He seemed to be having a good time.  Rest in Peace, Dave.
